03/04/14 - SID March Single Page Layout Team 1

Hello!

Stopping by to share the latest "Stick It Down" sketch for my team: Single Page Layout - Team 1.

Warning my layout subject matter is total "TMI" (Too Much Information)! LOL!

 

First the sketch:

"IBS"

Journaling: "I have stomach issues.

I've had them since I can remember but having children made it worse...and each child made it worse than

the one before (thank goodness I only had 2)!

I was actually diagnosed w/ IBS = Irritable Bowel Syndrome

This diagnosis came a few short years ago and thanks to it, I know what I need to do to manage it.

But there are some days that no matter what I do it causes me great pain.

On those days the only comfort I get is lying down w/ my feet elevated.

Sometimes this happens at work.

I am thankful I have an office w/ a door and a lock

And my Snoopy blanket.

Yup, like I said,  TMI.

But my IBS is a part of me; a part of my life.

And scrapping about life isn't just about the good and the pretty.

So there you have it: another piece of my story.

 

BTW - if you can't figure it out, that's a selfie I took of me lying on my office floor.

02/04/14 - SID February Single Page Layout Team 1

Hey there!

Today I am sharing the first sketch of the month for "Stick It Down", along w/ the layout I was inspired to create.

 

 

 

 

 

 "Hey Girl"

 

I am "in love" w/ hexagons right now, and jump at the chance to use my hexagon punch, so I was really excited when I saw this sketch! I am also currently "in love" w/ selfies and collages so I decided to incorporate those loves as well!

(BTW - I apologize in advance for all the pictures of me! LOL!)

This picture was taken back in November 2012. I happen to think it's a cute fun picture of me and when I realized I hadn't scrapped it I remedied that really quick! Because of my current love of collages, which are really easy to make at home BTW, I decided I would just repeat the image instead of scrapping it as a single picture. 

I love the way it came out!

01/07/14 - "Stick It Down": Single Page Team 1 - January Sketch

Hey there!

Today is the first official reveal date for "Stick It Down", Whoot-whoot!

And as a member of "Single Page Layout Team 1" it is also my day to share a layout!

My husband reads my blog from time to time, but I hope he never sees this post!
He will kill me if he sees I posted these pictures! LOL!
The good thing is nobody he knows reads my blog so even if he is embarrassed, it's not like he's ever going to come across anybody who has seen these!

I used my new "Dapper Dan" kit from Glitz Design.
Love how masculine yet fun it is!
And it was a steal, I paid $1.12 for the kit over at SB.com.
Here is what it includes:
 12 double sided 12" x 12" papers, one 12" x 12" sheet of coordinating alphabet stickers and one
12" x 12" sheet of coordinating cardstock stickers.
Yes, only $1.12 for ALL of that!
I thought it was a typo and wondered what I would actually get when I received my order...but it was all there; not a typo!

12/16/13 - Stick It Down's First Sketch Reveal

Hi All!

As you know I was chosen to be on a new Sketch Design Team called "Stick it Down" .

We weren't going to have an official reveal date until January 7th, 2014, but it was decided that was way too far away and we wanted to share some scrappy fun now!

So we are giving you a sneak peek into our SID Bloggy World!

 

Today there is a reveal of 3 different sketches:

1 Single Page

1 Double Page and

1 Card

 

Since I am on one of the Single Page Layout teams I will be sharing w/ you that sketch and my creation.

Warning my layout is more of an "inspired-by" layout then a "follow-the-sketch-exactly" layout, LOL!

"Tree Pick Up 2013"

Journaling: "David, Joseph, Madi, and me.  December 8th, 2013.

Picking up our Christmas tree. And yes David and Madi are wearing shorts, LOL!"
