11/07/12 - "Baby x 3"

I know what you're thinking...
You're thinking I'm pregnant...
  with triplets...
Yikes!
No way!

With a 17 year old and a 10 year old, my baby days are O-V-E-R!!!
Over, over!!
(Did I mention they were OVER?)

But I did create a baby layout.
And I went way back w/ this one!

First the layout:
"Baby x 3"

Now let me explain what I mean when I say "I went way back w/ this one"...
See the baby on the left?
That is my husband.  He is only a few month old in this pic.
This pic was taken in 1977; the year he was born.
IDK the exact date but it was after August because August was the month he was born.
My mom-in-law gave me some old pics of my husband for me to have.  Naturally I wanted to scrapbook them.  I have 3 pages already done for his baby/toddler album; this is page #4.
I made the other layouts a couple of  years ago but I had trouble w/ this particular pic.  I'm not sure why other then it's a polaroid and I think the shape/size and the fact that it is a polaroid just kinda scared me.
So what prompted me to finally scrap it?
A baby challenge over at "Scrapbook.com": http://www.scrapbook.com/forums/showtopic.php?tid/1582193/
The challenge is to scrap a baby pic.
I have plenty of baby pics of my kids, but I remembered I had this pic and how much fun I had scrapping my husbands other baby pics so I decided, what the heck...I'm going to finally scrap this pic!
And I did...
And I love the layout! :0)
Guess it was just meant to be this time around!

Another reason I say "I went way back" is the items on here are OLD!  I'm sure you can tell by some of the "old -school" embellies! But let me give you  better picture of all the "old" stuff I have on here:

Some of the items on here are over 10 years old (My daughter wasn't even born yet!):
>the BG paper
>the "Baby" title die cut
>the bottle and pacifier die cuts

A Majority of the items are approximately 2 years old:
>the number "3" in the title
>the mini "1977" numbers
>the brown arrows
>the "memories" card
>the blue file folder
>the pink/blue pic borders

The newest item on here is the twine which is approximately 2 months old

So now you understand, right?

Yup, still trying to use up old stash...
It's definitely been a fun, interesting adventure!

My printer was having issues and I fixed it but during the interim I was not scrapping and lost my mojo ::le sigh:: But I've still been ...
